Hi people,
This Saturday I’m hosting our monthly Deep Listening Circle. From 6 to 7.30pm (GMT+1), a small group will gather to sit with the question of honesty:
What is my relationship to honesty?
What is the cost of honesty?
Which approach to honesty feels true to who I am?
When should we NOT be honest?
Any other question that is alive in the moment we meet.
As usual, the intention is to listen more closely to our inner teachers, so no fixing or advising will be allowed.
If you want to join, just reply to this email, and I’ll tell you more.
And, in general, if all this sounds like something you want to be part of and co-shape, you can join this calendar to stay up to date with future circles. I’ll also send reminders and announce the themes a few days before each circle.
Sessions will be offered as a gift. If you feel like you want to reciprocate via a financial contribution at some point, there will be ways to give back, but that won’t be the condition for your presence.
With love,
Carlota
P.S. In the spirit of honesty:
Here’s an archive interview with radical honesty advocate and filmmaker Caveh Zahedi with whom I conversed not only about honesty, but also art and spirituality.
And here’s my latest essay, ‘Stairs in My Head’, where I shared candidly about a terrible haircut and what it stirred up around beauty ideals, shame, and the women who stopped caring.
